years gone by

I don't remember feeling this way
not since nineteen ninety eight.
I've just forgot when i was fine
around year nineteen ninety nine.
but I was standing so sad and low
about the year twenty double oh.
so all the good things were gone
in the year two thousand and one.
and then I start feeling so blue,
the year was two thousand and two.
I've prayed so hard to be free
starting from two thousand and three.
but my happiness came no more,
not even in two thousand and four!
and I couldn't tell if I was alive
in the year two thousand and five.
I've found that my heart had no fix,
oh cruel year two thousand and six!
then i've thought I was in heaven
in sweet year two thousand seven!
only wished it wasn't to late
somewhere two thousand and eight.
now I've found this girl of mine
in this year two thousand and nine.
so, gotta know, will I be happy then
next year two thousand and ten?
